Jill Andrew

Jill joined Coulters as a Partner at the end of 2022.  She was previously a Director in her roles at Simpson & Marwick and at legal heavyweights, Shoosmiths and Burness Paull giving her over 25 years’ experience in conveyancing, working not only in residential property but also in rural and commercial housebuilding property.  Jill takes a very active role in training and development particularly in residential property practice and is the current Chairperson at Edinburgh Conveyancers Forum and sits on the committee of the Scottish Conveyancers Forum.  She is an active solicitor member of the espc and one of the key contributors who devised the Law Society Accredited “Conveyancing for Non Conveyancers” course which began in 2023.  Jill also tutors part-time residential and commercial conveyancing on the post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Edinburgh University.  Outwith the office, Jill can be found with trumpet in hand helping to run the Stockbridge And New Town Community Orchestra.
